While my Big Weekend Plans were spoiled by getting sick, I did manage to take a few shots this week and to learn some different ways of displaying them. I know…look at me getting all tech-savvy. I’m impressed too. To see picture better or to read the quotes that I attached to some of my photos, just click on a photo. You can scroll through them either by clicking the arrow or using the arrow buttons. Only one more week of prompts to finish off February – the year is flying by! Happy Weekend!
VISITING: “Some birds are not meant to be caged, that’s all. Their feathers are too bright, their songs too sweet and wild.” –Stephen King
WHERE I STAND
TWO: “There is a privacy about it which no other season gives you ….. In spring, summer and fall people sort of have an open season on each other; only in the winter, in the country, can you have longer, quiet stretches when you can savor belonging to yourself.” – Ruth Stout
ESCAPE: “The great fact in life, the always possible escape from dullness, was the lake. The sun rose out of it, the day began there, it was like an open door that nobody could shut. The land and all its dreariness could never close in on you. You had only to look at the lake, and you knew you would soon be free.” -Willa Cather
OH BOY!: “Between the innocence of babyhood and the dignity of manhood, we find a delightful creature of a boy.” Author Unknown
