Friday may have been Fall’s swan song. It was sunny and warm…and since there was no power at work, I got to work from home.
Every year, I drive by a street lined with beautiful red maple trees, and every year I think, I must drive by with my camera some time. And I never do.
But since I was driving by on my way home, and feeling like a kid who just escaped sitting in a boring classroom all day, I seized the moment (along with my dying cell phone).

After I took my photo of the maple trees, much to my delight, I discovered not only a man-made lake, but one boasting a white swan.

Happy Wednesday!
Oh dear no… Fall is just beginning here! At least, if you can call going straight from 95F degree heat to 40F cold “Fall”. It will either snow on Halloween or be hot and humid…
It snowed today but it didn’t last. [shudder]. 2weeks ago it was 40C on Tuesday we were in winter clothes by Friday, with heavy frost. It’s crazy!!
We missed autumn glory in northern PA this past weekend. Too early, I guess. Thanks for sharing yours, Jenn. 🙂
It has been late here too – so warm the trees and birds are confused. The snow on the ground this morning likely woke them up!
Beautiful! ❤️
Thank you!
Lovely Jenn!
