It’s a wet, gray day and I’m not gonna lie. I was very tempted, after dropping Little Guy at school, to crawl back in bed for a few more winks. But there’s just too much to do, even if it’s miserable looking outside. So I chose instead to settle in for my quiet time with a lap blanket and a steaming cup of apple cinnamon chamomile tea by Stash Tea.

You can count the seeds in an apple, but you can’t count the apples in the seed. – Anonymous

What wasn’t there to love? Sometimes fruit teas lose the sweetness and the natural flavour of the fruit. It can taste washed out or a little metallic-y, and that’s disappointing. This did not disappoint. The cinnamon was heady, the apple tart, and the chamomile indistinct (just the way I like it)! This caffeine-free tea contains cinnamon, hibiscus, chamomile, and apple flavor. I think the hibiscus added a flowery note which countered the tartness of the apple, giving it a bold flavour. Yum! Bonus – the red colour was rich and inviting. Just what you want in a cup of tea!
