I took this photo on the way home from my mother-in-law’s memorial service. It had been a difficult weekend including hours of driving. The sun was setting and we were nearly home. As I stared out the window, the landscape seemed to reflect my own thoughts and feelings – calm and turmoil, light and dark, joy and sorrow.

The evening Aunt Ruthie died we saw a rainbow after driving through a rain storm. Funny how that happens metaphorically – and in nature.
Again, my condolences to you and your family, Jenn.
Thanks Marian. I think God does bless us more often than we take the time to see. Rainbows and promises of eternity – how perfect!
Beautiful pic Jenn!
