I had already prepared and scheduled this post, not knowing just how appropriate it would be today, in our lives. I came home from dance class last night to 2 very sad men. One of our guinea pigs was dying. Guinea and Rock Star are Little Guy’s first pets so there will be many tears in the next several weeks.
“There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love.” – Washington Irving
A beautiful picture and quote! I am so sorry to hear about the little guys pets. That is a journey in life I don’t think we ever get used too but believe it is a good journey none the less.
Hugs and love to you all.
Thanks. I’m not sure who was more upset – Little Guy or Hubby. And I’m the one who feeds and cleans and cuddles them. I had to take care of the body after I got Little Guy tucked in bed. 😦 RockStar is alive and well (the orange one) but she’s scared of her own shadow! Hope the ground thaws soon…
I am sorry for the loss in your life right now, but what timing wit the quote and the picture. ((HUGS)) to you all.
Thank you! 🙂
